Esthwaite 9th / 10th September

Good evening members. Please see below the list for our esthwaite weekend event. We still have some boats available so get in touch with Stewart McMath(events@esoxscotland.co.uk) if you want to be involved. We would also like to remind everyone that as this event is south of the border you will be required to purchase a rod license for the days you intend to fish. Unfortunately if you are buying a daily license it only covers you for two rods, so please bear this in mind when you pack your gear. Here is a link direct to the Environment Agency where you can find more information and purchase your license for the day. https://www.gov.uk/fishing-licences/buy-a-fishing-licence

One that is a little bit closer to home to our new products guy Peter. We have the same range of products coming soon with some exciting new additions to freshen things up a little. As you know we are still building the members only side of the page and this includes our shop, if you would like to get your hands on some new rebranded hoodies or shirts, please get in touch with our man peter ( products@esoxscotland.co.uk  )

It will still have the same great content and reports for you to enjoy so don't worry!

So with that in mind we are now gathering material for the first issue! deadline for entries is the 11th of September, so get those pencils working and send in your  branch reports / articles by then. Don't forget to share your catches for the mugshot section! Send all details to Our editor Ciaran Wilson at: editor@esoxecosse.com

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Esox Scotland, the new home for the Pike Anglers Alliance for Scotland. Firstly I would like to thank our members for their patience over the few weeks or so as we made the transition to our new site. The committee made the decision to  produce a new website that is easier to update and keep everyone informed. A task that was not easy on our old platform! With this new design it is a piece of cake for us to login and write a blog post / update a webpage as and when we need it, which makes all the difference!

Please bear with us as we are currently adding some new imagery and adding some extra features for the site that will allow our members to login and gain access to privileged areas, such as our magazine, events and our shop. (We are currently in the middle of rebranding our product lines and the shop will be live once this is complete.) The events section should make everybody's life a bit easier when it comes to applying / paying for events. We are also in the process of producing some new video content for the site that will include trace making / fishing techniques etc.

So please take a look around and if you have any suggestions / notice any bugs please drop me an email at:

asstsec@esoxecosse.com

I will endeavor to keep you guys posted when we have made any update to the site to keep everyone in the know. so please keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates regarding the site,  events and meetings.

Thanks again,

Chris Sharp
